We have experienced another full week of summer and I am so happy that it doesn't feel like it is going too fast....or slow....just the perfect pace.  Days filled with relaxing, swimming, visiting with friends, being creative, bike riding, watching the garden grow, and maybe a bit too much tv watching (but we are watching shows as a family at night when we are relaxing and being lazy so it all seems okay!).
Tyler comes home tonight....I can't wait to see him.  I hope he looks back on this experience with good memories and is proud of himself for stepping out of his comfort zone.  Today is also Murray's last day of work and then he starts 2 weeks of holidays.  It will be so nice for him to have a break and without a whole list of plans he can relax too and enjoy some time at home with the kids.
As I continue to work on gratitude....here are three things from yesterday that I am grateful for:
1. the break in the humidity and being able to open the windows and let the fresh air in
2. sitting by the pool, reading my book, and watching the girls have fun with their friends
3. the pork tenderloin I cooked for supper....yummy! and Grace even licked her plate, which, she informed me means she really liked it!
I am heading off for one more cup of coffee....it is shaping up to be another great day!
