Okay, so, wow....it is August. I can't believe that we spend so much time waiting for, thinking about and dreaming of summer and then it can come and go so fast. The air is starting to feel cooler, the air conditioner isn't running quite as much and the windows are open. I have done some school supply shopping and Murray is back at work this morning. We are done with our vacation, Tyler's camp and the girls' swimming lessons. Our bathing suits are starting to show their wear from hours in the pool, I finished reading The Help (can't wait to see the movie!), our garden is giving us wonderful fresh peas, beans and tomatoes and the boys got a lot of the garage cleaned up. We have done some baking together, got creative with some beading and watched movies until late in the night. There have been some sleep in lazy mornings and marathon Monopoly games, days at the mall and endless pots of coffee while hanging out at home. Life is good and there is still many adventures to be had. I am so thankful for the break of summer and am looking forward to August giving us time for more bike rides, adventures with friends, hiking and geocaching, maybe Rainbow Stage, being lazy and loving each other.
