December so far......
The month of December has always snuck up on me and I have greeted it with a mix of excitment and dread. There is so much going on, so many expectations, so much money to spend and decisions to make. At the same time there is magic all around me with Abby's birthday, concerts, colourful lights and, of course, the Christmas joy! This year I was prepared (took the Cut the Crazy out of Christmas class at Big Picture Scrapbooking) and realistic about what I would be able to do, and about what I really wanted to. The result is that December so far has been enjoyable. We have shopped, visited, ate, crafted, wrapped presents, watched festive movies, decorated and just enjoyed being together. I am so happy to see the children`s excitment and feel it with them instead of being stressed.
Today poor Tyler has a dentist appointment....he is getting a tooth pulled...but the rest of the day will be spent making some decorations with Borax, baking buns, watching some TV, playing outside in our little bit of snow and discovering what is next in our Advent Playmobil Calender.
It feels good the feel good.
