I continue to be so amazed at how fast time can go. Summer is over and we are back into the routine of school again. Cadets will start on Monday and I have started work. Things are changing...our 'normal' is changing. For 11 years I have been proud to be a SAHM...loved it, embraced that role and took advantage of every minute with my children. It wasn't always perfect, and maybe I could have made better use of my time sometimes, but I made the most of each day. I will always be grateful for these years. I have great children and they will continue to be the most important part of me and my life. I am thankful too for the opportunity I have at work. To be the Director of the Nursery School where I began my training and, years later watched my children grow and discover new things, is an amazing gift. I am looking forward to the challenges and rewards along the way. Next Friday I will get my first paycheque in 11 years....I can't wait for that!!
Life here in this home...with Murray, Tyler, Abby and Grace is really special. We are so lucky to have each other and even though we don't have alot of 'fancy and expensive', we have alot of love and that is what really matters. At the end of the day we have what is really important.
Cheers to a great weekend!
