I am in such a good place right now...enjoying life and being thankful for each and every experience. I love my job and am so happy that Tyler, Abby and Grace are settling into a routine and getting used to the idea of me working. There doesn't seem to be enough time to see friends, do any scrapbooking, or watch all my favorite shows...but, if that is as bad as it gets, then things are okay!!

We have a good family and each day seems to bring something new. I am going to set some goals to get back to my journal and do more scrapbooking...not to make fancy or pretty pages to show other people...but the scrapbooking that is more important, the kind that tells our story and shares our memories. I have so much to remember...so much to share...I want Tyler, Abby and Grace to never wonder about their childhood, about how much they are loved, about all the experiences they had.

I want them to remember.....................

-how Tyler forgot to tell us that he ran in an won the election for classroom rep on student council

-how Grace cried and refused to get on the bus for a couple of days during the second week of school

-how Abby spent hours planning what she would take for her and her friends to play school with during the cross-country tournament only to find out on the day of the meet they only had about 5 minutes to play

-how on a lazy Saturday morning in September each of them made their own breakfast...Tyler made hard-boiled eggs, Abby made buns with peanut butter and jam, and Grace made toast

-how Abby embraced grade 4 by volunteering to help in the kindergarten room, getting choosen to be a leadership student, signing up for Cross-Country, signing up for intramurals, picking up recycling in the classrooms and volunteering to be a bus buddy for someone she didn't even know.

-how excited Tyler was to go back to Cadets

-how incredibly sad Grace was when she couldn't skate on the first day of CanSkate b/c we didn't have the paper work ready...and how she counted down the days until the next Monday

-how excited they all were when Daddy set up the laptop and video projector so they could watch movies on the big sheet

-how brave they are to use the key and get their snack while they wait for me to come home

-how hard they work when they are helping Papa on the farm...harvesting and grading...never complaining

-how much they love Nannie's meatballs

-how the tree in the front yard came down one morning with a crack and bang while we waited for the bus.

There are so many stories that need to be remembered.

Life is good!!

Cheers to a great weekend!
