Finding My Way

Life is funny sometimes...and hard other times. Not sure what causes the shift but it sure is easier some days than others. Lately it has seemed hard. Feels like a struggle to get through the day. I could probably make a bunch of excuses why, point my finger to one thing or the other, but, the truth is, I have been checking out. I stopped trying and started complaining. I made excuses to be grumpy, found reasons to put off jobs I know need to be done, and felt like the victim instead of making change. I really don't want that to be my story. I really don't want that to be the role model my kids see. It is time to step up and be present. Recognize the joy around me. Turn around and ride the flow...it shouldn't be hard. It doesn't have to be hard. It is time to write the story. It is time to smile. It is time to forgive and move forward. Smile and the world will smile too. Cheers to a wonderful day!
