Finding My Way

Funny how I titled my blog 'Finding My Way'....and I always seem to find my way back here. Even if months go by, it is like seeing an old friend and feeling no time has past. I come back to the blog, re-visit my past thoughts, leave a small footprint and move back into the flow of my life. Between my family and my job there isn't much time left over. Some moments I am resentful for this, I crave time to sit, think, and be creative...other moments I am able to embrace the busy choas and say 'thank you' for my wonderful life. I know some day I will miss not driving to dance class or hanging out with the girls while we wait for Tyler to finish football practice. I will miss Disney channel shows and wandering around Ardenes for what seems like hours trying to find one more thing that costs 5 for $10 so we can buy the other 4 things they want. I will miss driving Tyler to meet up with his friends...soon he will be able to drive himself! This weekend is Thanksgiving on our side of the border. We will celebrate with a family dinner tonight and football game tomorrow. Snow has fallen so it looks more like winter outside. We won't be playing out in the leaves like we did last weekend! But we will be together...probably inside playing video games, watching football on tv, maybe crafting a bit. The main thing is we will be together! My thankful thoughts right now, they are quite simple...I am thankful for my family, our health, food in the kitchen, sunshine outside and the love I feel all around me. Cheers to wonderful weekend!
