- I love spending the day bumming with my kids. We have had 2 days of movies, playing outside, going for lunch, wandering around stores, visiting the Art Gallery in Winnipeg, spending time with my parents, talking in the van, and really just enjoying each other.
- It surprises me how some people parent. Earlier this week I watched a women hand her baby to a stranger in the doctors office so the mother could go to the bathroom. Really? That was the only thing she could think of? She was only gone for a few minutes but it was defenitely long enough for that women to run with that baby. It is sad that we live in a world where we have to worry about stuff like that, but, the truth is we do and as a mother I cannot imagine handing my baby over so easily like that.
- I love the show Parenthood. I think it is my new favourite.
- Rainy days when we are just staying home anyway make me happy.
- Abby bought a scarf for my Mom yesterday when we were shopping. It was so cute and generous and really made my Mom's day. How great is it to have such polite and generous children?
- Grace snuck some chocolate when we went for a walk last night. It melted in her hands because she was trying to hide it from Abby and me. We totally knew what she was doing and laughed as she tried to lick her hands clean.
- I don't know how much stamps cost. I have 2 things to mail and I'm not sure if the stamps I have are enough money. I never remember to stop at the post office!
- I really have to get a few things done for work this week. I am feeling resentful though because it is Spring Break. I am thinking I should just get them done and over with already. Maybe today....
- I am thinking of cancelling our HBO and movie channels. We never watch those channels and our satelite bill is $97 a month. Yikes!
