Finding My Way

First picture with my new camera! I stuck with Canon...this is my 3rd one since going digital...it is a PowerShot A480 and is alot like my old one. I was totally lost without a camera!

Today I barely survived a shopping trip with the kids...we were spending a rainy Sunday getting groceries and other fun stuff for our week at the beach. It started off great until we realized that half of Winnipeg was also spending said rainy Sunday at the same Wal-Mart as us! My patience grew thin as I tried to push the cart around what seemed like hundreds of people...and why do they stack so many boxes and pallets of stuff in the already narrow isles? That drives me crazy! Anyway, we managed to get most of our stuff, we will need to stop in town on our way out of town for a few things, and we even picked up backpacks for Tyler and Grace. This was a huge step for Tyler who doesn't normally allow us to even talk about back to school shopping until after my birthday! I was quite of proud of him for happily picking out one he liked. Too bad Abby didn't find one she liked before they are all picked over.

I feel so lucky to have this one more adventure with the kids before we really have to get organized and I have to get ready to go back to work. The cabin at Twin Beaches is one of our favourite places and we are very blessed to be invited back this year. I will going alone with the kids, this will be a first, and Murray will be joining us in the evenings. It really doesn't matter to me if it is sunny and hot or rainy and cool...we have packed games, cards, crafts stuff, lego and littlest pet shop and we will have a blast!

Off to finish packing....tomorrow will be a great day!
