We are so close now to summer....Grace counted 8.5 more days! They have several field trips and special events planned so the time is sure to go quick. I am so happy!!
Work is winding down and things are slowly getting done. I have worked hard this last week to focus on positive things and have faith that everything will get done. And it is.
My sister and niece arrive tomorrow for a quick visit. It should be nice to enjoy some visiting time with them. It has been several years since we have seen them. I hope everything goes good!
Today will be filled with some volunteering, errands, cleaning and maybe some more planting outside.
The day started with a discussion about money with Murray. My parents never included me in any money discussions and never really taught me how to save and budget. It is a topic I am not comfortable with. The funny thing is that in my book of daily inspirations the passage today was about money....the quote is.... A father is a fellow who has replaced the currency in his wallet with snapshots of his kids. -author unknown.
