Finding My Way

Sometimes we are reminded how lucky we are.
Sometimes we question our choices, but we shouldn't. Sometimes we let other people change the way we think about things, but we shouldn't.
It is important to remember that we are in control of our life and our choices.
Someone else's life is not a reflection of mine, it has nothing to do with me or my choices. It is hard to be with people who look at the world differently. But it is simply about choices.
Being different doesn't make one bad, just different. I love my life, I love where I live, I have a nice home full of love and people who care about me.
This week I was reminded that the road is not easy. I was reminded how much of an impact our words and actions can have on another person. I was reminded how much my children depend on me. I was reminded how important they are to me. I was reminded that I am a good person, a caring person who is trying to do the best possible for my family and myself. I was reminded that no matter how much you wish for something to change, sometimes it doesn't, and that just has to be okay. Not bad, not good, just okay.
Today I will cut some grass, pull some weeds, put away some laundry, do some things for the nursery school, send some e-mails, welcome my children home and get one my step closer to summer. Life is good around here.....ready, set, go!
