Today it is raining and somewhat cool...not good news for 3 kids who start swimming lessons at the local outdoor pool! I am hopeful it will warm up, at least a little bit!
We spent the day yesterday exploring around The Forks in Winnipeg and having lunch at the Sals restaurant on the bridge. While we were looking at the menu we realized that the age range on the kids' menu went to age 10...Tyler was too old for the kids' menu!! Yikes, I wasn't ready for that!! We has a great time and it was fun to enjoy a easy summer day together. The weather was on the cool side, just the way we like for outdoor adventures that don't involve water!
Our plans for strawberry picking will likely have to wait for tomorrow when the rain is supposed to stop. This morning will likely be a lazy day of playing Lego and Bratz and enjoying a couple cups of coffee. Sounds good to me!
