Summer is in full swing and we are enjoying every minute of it! Staying up late and sleeping in, days by the pool, visits with friends, getting silly with cousins, fireworks for Canada Day, a few fights between the kids and alot of laughter and fun.
Yesterday Abby and I picked wildflowers on the trails between our house and Mama and Papa's place...there were so many flowers and tall grasses and Abby really saw the beauty in all of them. Even with the mosquitoes biting us we had a great time enjoying nature's garden and bringing some of it home. We found the most beautiful pink wild roses but decided not to pick them because we wanted them to continue to bloom (and they were 'pokey'!). I think I will go back and take a picture of them.
I am waiting for a Preschool Curriculum book that I ordered from Amazon...can't wait to get started planning for September. There are some changes I want to make in the set-up of the nursery and I need to list all the themes we will be introducing. I am so ready for this challenge...I only hope I can get everyone ready in the morning!
Today we are off to Gimli to spend the day with Heather and her beautiful children. I am looking forward to relaxing, sitting by the lake and getting caught up with Heather.
Cheers to a great day!
