Abby at the Grade 3 Dance Festival....fixing her earring!!
Grace at 6 Pines Farm....Kindergarten field trip. She was so brave on that big horse!!

Tyler at the Annual Inspection with the Cadets.

I guess an update is long overdue! Life just keeps moving along and I really need to find a way to keep track of the details...to not forget any of the special (and the ordinary) moments.

The kids are off school for 2 days and then only have a 1/2 day on Friday. I am so looking forward to the 'lazy days' of summer. I think I will look into VBS again and hopefully we will be able to register for swimming lessons. We don't have any big travelling plans but we will try to do some day trips and I am sure alot of swimming and hanging out. Murray has a business trip to Swan River and the kids and I are tagging along so that will be fun. At least we will get a couple of days in a hotel.
I am going back to work in September. I am surprised by how excited I am!! I have enjoyed being a SAHM so much but the timing is just right and I am looking forward to getting back out in the world...and getting some extra money to pay some bills!! I am going to be working part-time at the high school in the Child Care Nursery School. It will be a challenge setting up a whole new routine...getting myself ready in the morning along side the kids...but I will have 2 days off each week to volunteer and do stuff around here so hopefully it will all work out.

Things that have been going on include......Tyler recieved an award for 'The Cadet who tried the hardest', well deserved and greatly appreciated! Grace is almost done kindergarten, hard to believe the year has gone so fast. Abby has grown so much, she has made some really good friends this year and loved playing volleyball after school.

Today we will be on the hunt for some summer clothes and water shoes. I think we will stop for lunch and make our wish list of adventures for the summer.

I am so grateful for these few moments of quiet before the kids get up...a great way to start the day!
