Starting over with a dream board...

As I make a commitment to begin this new blog I am re-visiting a process that I enjoyed in months past...the process of creating dream boards.  Using the guidance and inspiration of  Jamie Ridler I have created my board for this last full moon of 2012.

The full cold moon of December 2012 asked the question "What comforts do you dream of?"  I sat down with my stack of old magazines and began to search.  After a week of being off work, sharing Christmas celebrations and time with family, it didn't take me long to find the images I know bring me comfort.  The most wonderful part of the process was realizing that I have these comforts in my daily life already.  I am blessed to have had this week to remind me of their importance to me and am grateful to have this visual reminder of them as we move forward into 2013.

The pieces of my 'comfort puzzle' include:

-soft, twinkling lights
-time at home
-family...together, looking toward our future
-tea
-pie (it really makes everything better!)
-flowers...layered, soft, beautiful
-a love story from O magazine.

My journey continues....I am looking forward to documenting and celebrating it here.

Cheers to a Sunday filled with organizing Christmas decorations, enjoying the ballet with my daughters and Mom, hearing about Tyler's day of snowboarding and hoping the Vikings don't break Murray's heart again!

  2. What a wonderful way to return. I'm so glad you're here - and that the process shone a light on the comforts you have. May all of your dreams come true!
