Finding My Way

I am so very thankful for this day.  It was a real gift and just what I needed.  I spent the whole day at home, cleaning a bit, on the computer a bit, but mostly I was sewing badges onto Tyler's Air Cadet uniform.  It took me 6 hours to remove the old ones, figure out where the new ones went and then sew them on.  It was a long process but I loved doing it.  I loved being able to do it.  Working part time is a real gift and I am aware of how lucky I am.  While I was sewing I discovered a series on Netflix (well, first I spent 20 minutes figuring out how to access Netflix through the X-box!) called Damages with Glenn Close...wow...what a great show.  I love lawyer shows, love shows set in New York City and this is both.  I was able to watch 6 episodes while sewing and can't wait for an excuse to park myself like that again and watch some more!

Gratitude for this day is.....my cozy and loving home, 3 wonderful kids that didn't fight too much this morning,  my secret stash of Halloween chocolate bars that hasn't run out yet.

Tomorrow is a work day...but it is also payday and Friday so I can't complain.
