A family night out at Tyler's Annual Inspection for Air Cadets.....
We so rarely have a photo of all 5 of us together and I love this one.  We all laughed at the red haired boy in the background...adopted son maybe?!  Tyler looks so grown up in his uniform...and the angle makes him look taller than Murray too!

Love this picture!  How did 15 years go so quickly?

Annual Inspection....June 1, 2012
The girls came well prepared with books (Abby even brought homework!), snacks, water and iPods.  They have gotten used to waiting for these inspections to begin!
The time has come for me to get more serious about blogging....more serious about keeping track....taking more time to pay attention, savour each moment, reflect and be grateful.  People are graduating, babies are being born, people are dying.  Life is moving forward and fast...sometimes too fast.  We must be present.  We must be thankful.  We must enjoy, even the crappy stuff, it is in our life for a reason.  Learn and move on.

Life has been busy with dance wrapping up and the recital, soccer beginning, Tyler starting football, the drama production at ESMS (Tyler was a real star!), Grace getting ready to move up to the middle school, Abby making plans for a summer job, wrapping up homework and big projects and the dandelions growing like crazy!

Only 2 more full weeks left of school...the kids are excited but everyone has been having such a good school year that we haven't had a lot of anxiety and stress this year.  We haven't been marking the calendar with big Xs or counting down days like we did last year.  I am so happy about that.  It is so much easier to plan for each day without worrying so much about the kids.  I love seeing them excited about their activities and feeling good about how they are doing in school.

I am so proud of them...they are wonderful kids!

Cheers to a great sleep and a good Monday tomorrow......
