December 6 – Make. What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it? (Author: Gretchen Rubin)
The last thing I made was a quick scrapbook for a dear little boy at Nursery School. I used a very simple coil bound scrapbook from Wal-Mart, some stickers, cardstock and glue. It is a quick peek at the last 3 months of school and it will travel with him as his family moves to a new province.
I would love to get back to scrapbooking and preserve some memories for my own children. This is a perfect example of my exuse of not having enough time being just that, an exuse. I made the time to make this book because it was for work, the family was moving and it was important that I get it done for the deadline I set at work. I made the time.
I need to clear some time for my own family, for our memories, for my sanity. My kids deserve that and so do I.
