Last night I stayed up until 2:00 am watching The Family Man. Nicholas Cage and Tea Leoni are so great in that movie. When we were in Minneapolis several years ago we had funnelcakes at the mall for the first time...the only reason I knew about funnelcakes was from this movie! When he sings to her at her birthday I cry every time.Some of my favourite lines.....Kate: 'How can you look at me like you haven't seen me every day for the last 13 years?' (that always makes me cry!)Jack: 'Our house is a mess but we like it that way.'Jack and Kate both have this line at different times in the movie: 'I choose us'.Often I forget about movies very quickly...I can't remember if I've seen it, who was in it, details about what happened...but this one has stuck with me. I love it. It makes me laugh and cry, and gives me hope. It helps me remember that life isn't about money and things and perfection. It reminds me how much I love my husband and how lucky I am.I am tired this morning, my house is a mess, but I have three great kids and I wouldn't change things for the world!Cheers to a great day.....
