Finding My Way

This week I set a few goals...part of my intention to be organized in 2010. It feels good to make a plan and follow through. One of the goals was to clean out the junk drawer in the kitchen, I quickly laughed and decided I needed to be more specific because there are actually 3 drawers that could be considered junk drawers! I am happy to say that I cleaned all three of them!! I found about 150 twist ties, keys from cars we haven't driven in about 5 years and Murray's SIN card. What a great feeling it was to throw out 3 grocery bags full of junk...gone....out of my kitchen and out of my life.
Spent 2 hours having lunch with my Mom...a lot of laughter and stories shared...it was so much fun. Who knew a local restaurant called Grumpy's, which is attached to a car wash and gas station, would have such great coffee and tasty fish and chips.
Ashes is getting more comfortable on the yard and is venturing out of the barn a bit. The warm weather, which has brought much grief and drips in the house, has been wonderful for the cat as she is able to lay in the sun and explore the other buildings around the yard. Last night when we came home she was up in the loft in the barn watching us from the door. The kids were laughing as they called to her and Ashes was meowing like crazy. I think they are going to enjoy having Ashes around!
