Finding My Way

This morning I am enjoying a cup of green tea and some quiet time on the computer while the kids enjoy a sleep-in. We had a busy week with VBS and swimming lessons last week so today I am loving the fact that I don't have to wake them up early. I am so happy that they had fun at VBS again this year, it is such a great program and it gives them a chance to see some friends and do some neat activities. It gave me a chance to do some grocery shopping, clean up the house and visit with Heather...which was wonderful. I even spent some time on Monday scrapbooking!
This past weekend was busy too with the parade on Saturday...all three kids got to be on a float (well, it was a wagan being pulled by a tractor...but they seemed to have fun!) with alot of other kids from school. It was neat after years watching the parade for all of them to get a chance to be in it and see all the people along the parade route. Sunday we spent the day in Lac du Bonnett visiting with Linda and her girls from Regina. Kathy and I drove up together and we had such a great day...the scenery was beautiful, the weather was amazing and the kids all got along so good...it was pretty much a perfect day!
Today will be filled with....operation clean up the camper van....and getting ready for camping next week. I am hoping that we won't need to buy too much stuff and that once we pull out our boxes and clean the cupboards in the camper we should be good to go. We are all so excited and I am hoping the week goes well without any problems! I am also hoping for no bugs and not too much heat!!
Random things making me happy right now.....Big Brother 11 started...how the kids can get themselves ready and pack the stuff they need for our outings...that the kids are on board for our room switching plans...Murray on holidays in 2 weeks....the rabbits that hop through our yard...that my kids are polite, kind and respectful....
Time to start the day....ready, go!
